Developed laboratory microcomputer systems for instrument automation and custom and specialized instrumentation/test equipment. Programmed technical applications on various microprocessors, minicomputers and mainframe systems.
Engineered a patented design and coordinated construction of ten particle size instruments for Quality Control and Research saving $150,000 over commercial alternatives while providing improved performance and reliability. Received Award for Technical Excellence.
Designed and built a continuous viscometer detector for gel permeation chromatography to provide absolute molecular weight and branching data. Design was later commercialized by Cook Associates.
