Customer Relations-Representative No Longer With Company-5

Dear Felix

It’s hard to say goodbye to someone who’s been part of your sales team for 24 years. And it’s not easy to let go of a great worker, but I know that I must put on a brave face as Akshaya retires. I’m glad that she’ll have more time to spend with her eight grandchildren. And that she and Madhav will be able to travel at the drop of a hat. I know we will all miss Akshaya terribly.

Akshaya doesn’t want anyone to “make a big fuss” over her retirement, but I hope she won’t mind if we make a little bit of a fuss at a special barbecue celebration in her honor:

Saturday, August 22, 1 to 4 p.m.

Oak Knoll Park (south of the city)

Bring a side dish.

Family members welcome. Please leave a message with Jayesh by the 15th saying whether you’ll be able to attend. Let’s take the time to send Akshaya off right. She’s done so much for us.
