Write a Letter to the Editor of a Local Newspaper voicing your concern about the menace of growing crime against Children.
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I wish to voice my deep concern about crimes against children.
When these tiny tots should be going to school and playing, their soft hands are overused and exploited by their employers. Though our Constitution grants freedom and right to play and education to every child, we find so many children enslaved in affluent houses, tea shops and factories doing menial jobs. The laws governing child abuse generally do not help them as there is nobody to fight for their cause. The factory owners find cheap labor in these children and the affluent class find these children as handy domestic help.
These children are the sole bread winners for their families and helpless to raise their voice against the injustice done to them. Their only hope lies in the voluntary organizations. Therefore, the government and the concerned authorities should frame suitable laws against child abuse and enforce these laws stringently taking punitive action against the perpetrators of child abuse of any kind.
