  A1 Letters

Write a letter following up the first strategic alliance letter and addressing the obvious concerns a potential alliance partner may have.

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that on <date of first letter>, I sent you a letter proposing a strategic alliance between (name of Company) and (other company name). However, we have not received a reply to it yet. Therefore, we are reminding you again considering that the first letter may have been mislaid or if you have been too busy to respond.

We understand that you may have some reservations about teaming with a company that you may have seen as a competitor. We would like to assure you that we and our company want nothing more than for both our companies to thrive and profit. We feel that by <proposed action>, both our companies will benefit.

I believe that you can see the obvious benefits of this sort of arrangement. It will be nice to fix a meeting so that we can discuss our ideas as how an alliance between (Company name) and (other company name) will prove to be profitable.

I shall look forward to hearing from you at the soonest possible.
